35k miles and not a hitch, other than needing the coolant topped off at 19,500.

I have 68 352 miles on my 2016 340 Xi 6 spd. Also have the MG Flasher tune since its release earlier this year. Coming from a tuned N55 and prior to that a tuned N54, this car has been be far the most reliable and fun to drive! Not had a single problem with the car as yet. The beat goes on.......

When I bought mine the salesman said there's nothing big (just the usual oil change, brakes, tires) until 70k mi. I haven't researched it yet because I have a long ways to go. |

2016 340i
50k miles 48k miles with BMS intake 44k miles with JB4 42k miles with ER catless downpipe Multiple e85 mixes around e15-e30 due to 91 octane. Multiple octane boosters used due to 91 octane Ran Map 1 Beta, followed by initial Map 2 release. Used map 3 and 5 for the last 1.5 years with lots of octane mixes. Didn’t run perfect always, but when it did, it was perfect. No hardware damages. It’s been two months since I returned it and I still miss it, but looking at g20’s helps me get over it. One time got a low coolant warning at 49k miles. Had the jb4 during it’s development days. It was nice surprising people in 2016 when most weren’t familiar with the 340i. Had a lot of people ask if it’s a V8, assuming they were used to the 540i/740i |

51k miles. Got it with 48k. Pretty sure the previous owner had a JB4. I also have one. Ran map 3 with 93 octane and AP intake until the turbo blew. Car is CPO, so it was replaced under warranty. Intake and tune back in, though only running map 2, still with 93 octane.
No other issues. Wife has said no exhaust mods (yet), but I will likely get a flash when the warranty is up at the end of next year. Everyone else's solid experiences leave me optimistic. Got a lot of miles to drive this summer with 3 out of state weddings and a 5 day road trip planned. Not relevant to the motor, but wheels and tires are imminent, and coilovers happening by the end of the summer as well.

Low coolant alert twice but stop when the whole system was flush when I requested the stock rock guard to be installed Two software updates Drive seat rail needed replacement once. Rear driver weather strip had to be adjusted once Overhead computer module replace Two fuel leak false alarm due to gas attendant not securing gas cap. And I think that it transmission and engine has been solid. |
