Catted DP/Tune warranty effect
Looking to get an Active Auto catted DP and possibly a slight tune, only issue is that I have a rather large warranty (60 months or 60,000 miles). Anyone possibly still receive coverage from warranty with either the tune or catted DP? Only looking to get the active auto one due to the no CEL.

If the dealership decides that the tune or DP contribute to the failure that would require warranty service, then they can refuse to cover the fix.

Unless your dealership is a "mod friendly" one, many will just decline any warranty claims that could have been cause by the change/extra power. Which would be anything engine related, drivetrain, exhaust, etc.

If you have a repair and the dealership thinks your downpipe caused the damage, they will not fix it for free.
After-market Downpipes are less restrictive than stock; they won't be blamed for damaging your turbo or engine. From all our data, out of the hundreds of thousands of customers with downpipes on this forum alone. You should be fine, as i dont remember ever hearing of a downpipe voiding the warranty
