raceland coilovers for 335i?
Anybody have experience with these? They are budget but it's just a daily no track.

Don't do it. Bc is the cheapest set that won't break your teeth.

I tried raceland coil overs on a Miata about 8 years ago. They were horrible. Spring rates and shocks were really low quality. Very rough riding. BMW parts are way overpriced for anything decent. Get use to it or buy an Asian car.

Racelands for a civic will still be shit. It's not who/where the car is manufactured. Our cars aren't Ferraris or Porsches. For suspension don't cheap out

You are Going to hate yourself for wasting $500 + (install). I've done the $400 coilover thing before. It does not ride well at all. When the car is stationary it looks good but that is literally it. I cut my losses and saved up for BC+Swift and thrust washers. Night and day but still could be better. This was on an 03 audi I had purchased for $2000 with a blown engine and rebuilt.

This like the bottom of unknown coilovers
Good luck I would advice, if your looking for the cheapest then check out Tein . Company have reputation and we'll know in the Japanese tuner. They sell $599 coilovers for f30 |

Google them and the reviews are pretty damn good for budget and a lifetime warranty. BC is a year. Also remember all of these forums link profit back to a sponsors selling parts. Raceland sells directly to consumer driving down cost. So I'm sure some negative sentiment is from people that "heard" they were bad but don't have personal experience.

Also, is the warranty voided if you install yourself? Warranties for parts like this are typically contingent on being installed by license professionals or the company just blames everything on user error.

Did you get them installed? I’m sure if you are just looking to lower the car they should be ok. Wonder how they will age though.

Yep they are on. Easy install. Need an alignment now. Put 15mm spacers in the rear, 12.5mm in the front. Looks so much better. Stoked
Definitely feel the bumps in the road more and all that but everything else seems smooth. Better and tighter handling for sure. Last edited by jew82; 10-23-2021 at 02:42 PM.. |

Got a lot more seat time with these coilovers/rear suspension. I don't have much to compare them with since this is my first BMW but it rides way better than stock(worn suspension) and feels planted. Not gonna keep this car long anyways because I now love bmw's and want an M3 fuk it.
