Clearing SRS Codes ?

Hi all,

Looking to see if anyone knows if it’s possible to clear this code

“930928; Driver seat belt tensioner too high”

It popped up randomly a couple months ago. Before I buy the tensioner and replace it I just want to know if it’s possible to code this out with ista or something like that. I tried with BM3 but that did not work.

ISTA will clear the code if the fault is fixed. Another option is Foxwell NT series scanners

I haven’t replaced the tensioner. Can ISTA still clear the code if it’s not fixed?

It will just come back. The code is telling you that there is a problem. Until you fix the problem you can't clear the code.

Hence why I didn’t just clear it with my own scanner. I’m wondering if anyone with coding experience knows if it’s possible to permanently clear it.

Ah, I see now that you're looking for a shortcut...

Correct.

I can replace the tensioner but if someone knows coding and could give me some insight that’d be appreciated!
