KONI FSD w/ stock springs or BC RACING coilovers

Before you say "google it"....

I've done a lot of googling and can't decide what to do here

I love a comfortable ride when I'm with family but hate body roll when turning and want something firmer when changing lanes etc...

I have the m adaptive right now and boy it is bouncy ...

Should I go coilovers such as BC racing or with FSD shocks?? I kinda like the slammed look at times but don't want to sacrifice comfort

What's your budget for the upgrade?

Ohlins R&T coilovers would be one of the top choices (money being no object). EDC delete module would be also required to negate EDC control unit functionality.

I have not found any springs that will drop the F30 below 1.5 inches...Given your budget, you will more than likely end up with FSDs and lowering springs... Unless you buy the BC Racing setup used.

I had the FSDs in my car on stock springs, i felt they did not have enough compression for autocross so i took them out and went with a BC racing setup. The BC racing represents excellent bang for the buck and are fully rebuildable so it works for my application.

The FSDs have excellent street manners...soak up everything and keep the tires on the ground. I think for your application and budget it fits the bill, particularly since the ownership is temporary.

Ohlins and JRZs are too expensive to justify for street use so I wouldn't even bother with them.
