Could any one identify this release catch?
Hi guys,
As you know this car comes with split folding seats. I have this catch that has a luggage symbol on it. Now when I pull the leaver nothing happens I have tried pulling the seat forward tried to see if the back moves ..but nothing happens Tried pulling the back of the seat forward but nothing happens. Could anyone shed some light on this please?

it should definitely be for lowering the seat back. maybe you arent pulling hard enough? or try pulling/pushing the seat while you're pulling on the release?
is there a release on the other side as well?

+1. When you pull that the seat back should spring forward to a vertical position. If the seat back is already vertical it won't do anything. Totally separate from the seat back lowering levers.

To tell you the truth, I did look for it in the manual. As I expected this car to have this feature. But what fooled me was the fact that it didn't have the two release handles in the rear so I thought that it was not on this model.
