Any issues after the install of the intake pipe? I currently have the ftp intake pipe for my F30 b46 engine. After installation, I have noticed that as the car gets warm, the intake pipe has been making a sound after letting go of throttle, kind of like blowing on an empty bottle, or an owl hooting sound ish. I put the stock intake pipe back and the sound disappeared, so I'm sure that this is coming from the intake pipe. Not sure if this is normal or if something is up with my pipe, like maybe the o ring.

Your o ring might be installed the wrong way, but sounds like you have a leak from the install.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm quite certain the install is good though just because I installed the stock one back and there's no issue with that. The o ring however was preinstalled when I got my pipe.

My O ring was flipped and installed the wrong way when I had a turbo leak. Ended up being an easy fix

No problem. There's only so many parts to fail. Either connections or the o ring. Hope that helps!

Can't speak for their FMICs though.

Which shop/distributor, did you source the (FTP) charge pipe from?

i'm not sure how beneficial the inlet(intel) pipe is, but the FTP turbo inlet(intel) pipe looks better than the offering from MST. i might get it at some point.

there's more than a few members utilizing FTP products on their M cars. taiwan makes good stuff...
They actually drop ship the inlet pipe from allibaba

I upgraded my turbo inlet, charge and boost pipes with FTP and VRSF. It makes a big difference. Like previously mentioned, make sure your seals are good and put in the right way and go ahead and get a diverter valve upgrade while you're at it.
