Paddle Shift F30 Retrofit
Just picked up a 2013 fully loaded 335i with x drive. It has the M sport package but no paddle shifters. I saw a few threads and just wanted to know where would be the best place to get the parts and to get this installed? Since I do not have a garage it's a little harder for me to do DIY's.

Living in Maryland - Paddle installation Shop
Good morning,
I'm curious if there is a shop in Rockville Maryland area that I am able to get a set of paddles installed? I have 2013 335i xdrive sports package with M-steering wheel. Thanks in advanced. |

Job well done!!!! I especially like the carbon look on the steering wheel. It compliments the paddles well.
I'm curious, for a fee, would you be interested in taking mine on as a project? |

I am figuring out which wire goes to which paddle shifter. I also heard that the shorter one goes to the side furthest away which makes zero sense to me. You would think BMW would label them. I'll let you know once I code the paddles and figure out if they work or not. Right now I have them as the longer side hooked up to the furthest paddle.
The real question I have is the lane assist. I am now getting a lane assist malfunction and that feature no longer works. Could I have the incorrect wire harness or will this go away once I code the shifters. It's strange because everything is hooked up but I have two connections just tucked away because the paddle shifter harness replaced them. Harness part number 32-30-6-854-769 and I couldn't find another harness for lane assist just a heated feature which I don't have. Can anyone weigh in on this?

Did you need to drill the wheel to install these?

Sometimes watching someone do it can also help. I had the wiring already installed in my car as I was just swapping to F80 paddles, but this really helped me. This you definitely help guide the install. Hope this helps.

Help me out pls
I did the f80 m3 paddle shifter retrofit on my 2014 335 and it was pre wired. They worked for about a month before the stopped working. Only the left side will shift and it auto up shifts immediately after. But when I decode it then the paddles don't work in general. I can't seem to upload the video I took of it but can anyone help me
