Rear dashcam, which fuse.

If I mount a dashcam in the rear screen of my 2016 F30 and connect it to the fusebox in the boot, to which fuse should I connect it so it powers up exactly like the front one connected to the socket under the glovebox?

Pretty much any.
All but about 2 fuses are only active when the car starts.

Finally got around to installing a rear dashcam, Nextbase 312GW. Got it from Argos who had a special offer of a hard-wiring kit included in the price of £99.99.

Simple to install in my F30.
Behind each of the left & right headrests is a plastic cover which hinges up to reveal an anchoring point for a child seat and also gives easy access for cabling into the boot. Some wire clips to hold cable in place under the parcel shelf then route cable behind the boot carpet to the rear fuse box. Some tie-wraps to tidy up the long cable and now ready to connect to power.
I used fuse number 136, which was spare, and earthed to the bolt that holds the adjacent processor to the boot floor. Only problem I encountered was the fuse connection of the hard-wire kit protrudes above the fuse box and you have to be careful not to knock it out as you replace the boot carpet. I did and wondered why my camera was not working, out with the carpet again and Duh!

I recently purchased a Viofo A129 dual channel dash cam with GPS for £129.99.

It can connect to your smart phone via WiFi and gets regular firmware updates.

I think it's a great dash cam with good quality video.

Garage List
I mounted my rear dashcam high up by the 3rd brake like and then ran the cable just in side the headliner and down the C Pillar which means you can tuck it through to the boot.
