Thanks all,
I’m waiting for my local specialists to come back with quotes and lead times for the remap. A remap is definitely a Christmas present to myself… my wife can treat me to the ACS springs! Any other thoughts worthwhile upgrades - appreciate that this may not be quite the right thread for that though! Merry Christmas! |

The F series just have loads more about them. Appreciate its all about driver and pedestrian safety these days, but we shouldn’t compromise on the driver! |

Thanks Stainy,
I’ve got some enjoyable twisty a roads near me, but I’ll not be doing any track days any time soon! I’m open to suggestions if you’ve got some alternatives to recommend over the ACS springs? |

I changed just springs and instantly regretted it. The standard dampers couldn't cope. It might have been my springs, but I suspect it's universal......I Would have spend less money in labour doing it once.
As for recommendations - I haven't tried anything but the setup I have (and I'm very happy with). Someone will be along shortly to tell you that ACS/Eibach/insert name are better - just know that the standard springs/dampers are shite I went off-piste with the springs and don't know anyone else that has a set. The dampers are Bilstein B8 (but B6 would be fine). If I did it again, I'd probably risk the off-piste coilovers - cos I don't like paying for a name |
