How do y'all like your 405M's? I have them in 20s, but am not the biggest fan. Ride is rough and the rears lose traction too easily with a stock engine. I don't think that 8.5" out back, on 255s, are enough contact patch. They look great, but I'll probably get rid of them for something a bit wider

I'm new here, recently bought a 435d XDrive GC, my first BMW, and I love it! Quite high spec, HUD, MSport brakes, Pro Nav, reversing camera, Harman Kardon, Ivory leather, electric towbar etc... missing powerfolds, but I plan to retrofit those.

My old car next to the new one...

Although technically it's not my first BMW... as the MG was built under BMW ownership in 2004 and uses a 2.0 BMW diesel engine

Appearances can be very deceptive! I had no option but to replace her, she was on her last legs with so many problems that were uneconomical to repair. Gone now for scrap, sadly. Was a great car for most of its life though!

I don't find the ride too bad and I love how they look, but I'll be stepping back down to 19's as soon as I find a aftermarket set I like. My biggest complaint would be the Dunlop's mine came with - I find them loud and they seem to cause some vibrations compared to my OEM 19's depending on the road surface.

Its also probably the last weekend in double digit temps up here, so I went for a nice drive out of town & stopped at an old storefront I've always wanted to take pictures at.

Have swapped Pirelli P Zero RFT's to Yokohama non RFT's on my 405M's and the difference in drive comfort is immense - they are great looking wheels !
