OK, so last answer I had from Bilstein was this :
"Unfortunately we have to inform you, that the front left dampers are not available at present. We plan to have them available again in the middle of December. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the waiting time." Mmmhhh... Does that mean other parts (rear pair and front right) are available ? Will contact my local Oscaro tomorrow to know about availability. I probably found the available parts at a German dealer but I'd like to find a better price. Cheers. |

They're probably asking about updates for the B16 Damptronic coilovers; been waiting for them to come out for over a year now.

Also waiting for B16 PnP. Did you all see the warning about bilstein prices rising? Supposedly happening today or tomorrow... I think due to their factory move being complete. Maybe that means we'll see the B16 damptronic soon? Having a hard time deciding if I should retain EDC or just go to normal B16 C/O.

Availability date has been pushed back again. I asked about these while asking about when B6 (non damptronics) would be available and both were pushed back from March till May. Of course that's just a "placeholder" date like the past 4, 5, 6 ETAs...

Can I give a piece of advice ? More my humble opinion than an advice actually, but I think it's wiser to forget about getting B16 Damptronic.
First of all, it's still not yet available. That's a shame and I'm really angry at Bilstein for this lenghty masquerade but who knows when it will REALLY be out (they can decide to cancel it at the last moment too) Second, most of us don't need it anyway, I suppose most do 2 or 3 track days a year so why bother waiting ? Just for height adjustment ? Which leads me to three : B6 are there, mate them with Eibach or AC Schnitzer coils or take a full B12 Pro Kit coil-overs and will already be a GREAT improvement over stock suspensions. Just my 2 cents. |

www.fahrwerke-stossdaempfer.de It cost me around 1380€ with shipping and to this I need to add the cost of my shop to put them but overall, I'm pretty happy to have finally broken the Bilstein curse ! |

It's a shame, though. I hope that somebody with more patience than me is able to put these on their car someday!

Wasnt too long ago I got my B8 set up (couple months).
They are out there if you look hard enough. Took me about a month of looking and persistence to locate a set. |
