Gorgeous! Take good care of it and plan to hold on to it. The G21 wagon will not be imported to the U.S.

Nice Individual order wagon! Hang on to it as there won't be any future 3er or 5er wagons coming to our shores.

There are a few threads about this.

Here's one I found using the search function:
G21 Touring (Wagon) for USA? https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1347549

No official announcement but outlook is not positive.

Interesting that some 6MT E91's are selling more than F31's. This is year, color combo, and option dependent. In this case, unicorns can be built though 😁.

Now to caveat off of another thread - what impact will this have on the F31's resale value?

Probably tank. Unless you are a wagon freak

Well maintained ones shouldn't be bad... collectors item... not yet, give it like 60 years or so. However us wagon freaks won't sell, so there will be limited quantity around, so that should apprise the value.

Hard to say. Interest in wagons has increased incrementally in the past few years though. Times are changing and so are consumer trends. Not as prevalent as in the UK, but I see more wagons here in the US than in years past. Just look at the E9x forums and you'll see that while E90/E92 models are sinking in value, certain E91's are going up.

In general, values tend to go up as something with demand becomes limited or unavailable. Generalization of course.

I read an article the other day regarding consumer loans and interest rates. New cars are getting more expensive and interest rates are increasing as incomes are rising. There is a growing trend of people holding onto cars longer vs upgrading. This adds more value in the used market as more people are shopping for used cars, which may also contribute to the increasing value of well optioned E91s, and possibly well optioned F31's down the line.

I think you have little option but to keep it, it's probably the best all round wagon on the market in the US these days (unless you want something crazy).

Same in the UK really. The demand is high enough to keep wagons (or... 'estates' in Queens English ) available, but so many don't like the look of them. I think they will inevitably fall back into fashion at some point though, because they genuinely are extremely practical. More so than most SUV's with a similar wheelbase. And better to drive, and cheaper to run etc etc.

Sorry for the crappy video quality, but this video breaks down the benefits of an estate car quite nicely https://www.myvideo.ge/v/1395291

Another site already broke the news. Jalopnik just recently (today?) reached out to confirm.
