It's a 2013 BMW 335i with Bootmod3 Stage 2 OTS Flash Tune

List of mods:
1. VRSF Catless Downpipe
2. VRSF FMIC HD 5"
3. VRSF Chargepipe
4. NGK Li Spark Plugs
5. Afe Magnum Pro Dry S Drop in Air filter
6. MPE

So I did data logging, some are only 3rd gear pulls some are full 3rd and 4th gear pull up to redline and here are the links:

Are you Xdrive? I've been looking for numbers like this. Did you do a baseline as well?
No I'm RWD and unfortunately I didn't do baseline because I have had the parts and tune on the car for a long while but couldn't find any local Dyno until N26Ghost gave me a reference

Hmmm, idk if I'm reading it right, but numbers seem kind of low for a tuned FBO N55. Just out of curiosity, what gear did you do the pulls in?

Yeah bro I'm hella bummed. These are all 4/5/6 gears. 315 is 6th gear and he said he hit 160mph in 6th. 4th gear was the shortest so hits redline too fast so 5/6 gears there. 4th got hella torque 386/381 wtq

All except the black plot show evidence of torque management or timing being pulled between 2k and 3k rpm. Is that the 4th gear pull?

Edited to add: Maybe it's the boost that is being pulled.

That indeed is 4th gear pull, after about 4 pulls car was hear soaked so we let it sit down for 5 mins

Somethings way wrong. This is my pure stock base run 2011 335is BMW advertised 320BHP & first cut with only a JB4 map 2 on 94 octane, no other add-ons


Pure stock baseline. Track test 13.0 to 13.4. seconds 107 to 110MPH. Compared favorably with other stock 335is 7DCT & other dynos



JB4 out of the box @ 94 octane

BTW not sure how you are getting 378BHP @ the crank out of those numbers.

I'm probably not the best source to review data logs. You could also try sending them to PTF and see what they think.

If you calculate 15% drivetrain loss (debatable number), with 315 at the wheel, you'd come up with 370 crank. The thing is, even though the N55 is rated at 300bhp, it seems like most get pretty close to that at the wheels. This is where a baseline, at least with a stock map, would come in handy.

Thought it was the 15% thing. I tend not to use it because there are too many variables & no one knows what BMW is seeing on their own engine dynos so you can't back trace into a create a true loss allowance.

Could run the same test on a Mustang dyno & you would really cry at what WHP looks like. Would take a mega fudge factor, that would make 15% look ultra conservative, to get anywhere near 370 crank.

OP the only pull you want is whatever gear gives you a 1:1 ratio into the rear end. The rest just distort the numbers.

Its not just, a WAG based on an "Average" loss factor. I know my COBRA 5.0L does not have over 600 horsepower at the crank.

sorry but if OP is PWG and running ACN91 then numbers are in ballpark...

PWG and 91oct is the worst possible combination for a 'tuned' N55 F30...

So are you gonna post some logs so people can evaluate why the car had such a low hp dyno? Everyone just speculating in here without logs.

Look at those pulls on the dyno how they ramp up all weird, something weird was going on for sure and is likely related to the tune.
