X delete... will it solve this?

Guys, since ive put the 20s on my car ther is a slightly juddering acceleration

tire sizes are good @ 245 35 20 and 285 30 20.. but between front and rear profile there is a 3 mm difference

Since the x drive is something i dont need in my life... will the X delete also remove that problem of the acceleration juddering?

On the 19s with 4 x same profile everything was perfect..

If your front/rear tire diameters are only 3mm different (0.12") then you wouldn't have an Xdrive front/rear 1% spec issue. So you shouldn't be getting the symptom that you are seeing from tire sizing..

IMO don't assume that was the cause. XDelete may be covering up some issue in your XDrive drivetrain( located in the front half of the car) that should be investigated.

Probably a transfer case on its way out

On the 19s not a single problem... as soon as i swapped to the 20s.. the problem was there... until the xdelete the problem was there... so thats a big of coincidence to be transfercase related.. imo

Plus i dont give a $#^#^#^$ about xdrive... i think its overhyped, especially on the lower powered models.. with my m550d and 935nm of torque it was a different story

Almost two years of usage. Turn off in the summer. Xdrive on in the winter. No issues.

Is there any risks for xdelete?

Mechanically speaking I don't think there are any potential issues (that I know of), but I question how well the rest of the car copes with the change. For instance, my launch control won't work properly when the front wheels are deactivted which shows that xdelete doesn't completely recode/fool the car into thinking it's rwd. That then makes me question how functional the other awd related systems are such as the stability control is (if it's reprogrammed for rwd or left as is). Wondering if that would pose a safety issue should you start to hydroplane/spin or something. I ended up turning xDrive back on because I just don't trust it.

I twisted a driveshaft in half, doing a launch. Totally driver error.
