No Connected Drive menu items on retrofitted NBT

Hi,
I have retrofitted NBT in my 01/2014 F31, everything went well, all is up and running (navigation, voice commands, Office, etc.), except one thing: I don't have any menu items in Connected Drive menu.

My car has the following options (only relevant to HU):
606, 698, 6AL, 6NH, 6UH, 6VB, 6WA
so in FA I changed 606 to 609, 6NH to 6NS, and VO code HU_NBT; coding was fine, I presume, because as I said everything else works.
I don't remember if prior to VO coding Connected Drive menu was empty or not, but in my previous HU_CHAMP2 I had BMW Live (6AL), some options with telephone numbers, and maybe some other.
If I select Connected Drive, no item is listed, but if I press option menu button, I can see the Update Service menu item.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to re-configure Connected Drive?

Did you ever get a resolution to this as I have a replacement NBT head unit that works fine apart from a non functional ConnectedDrive menu option?

The VIN in the HU must match that of the VIN registered to your TCB. What VIN did you VO Code into your HU? Are you using a CAN adapter or custom FSC codes?

Hi,

The nbt head unit was replaced under warranty by the dealer and when it came back I had no connected drive menu items.

The car is back in with them now but they don’t seem to know what the problem is.

I assume that they have coded the nbt with my correct VIN?

I have the same issue. My BMW F31 came from the factory with an NBT unit but was replaced for an unknown reason by the previous owner.
My ConnectedDrive Menu is empty, so entering it from the main menu gives me no sub menus like the "messages" folder which I need to check for my activation code that was sent by BMW.

Does anybody know how I can get this resolved? Is there perhaps some coding that I can check?

Sorry for starting up the old thread. But I am having the same issue after having my HU replaced due to failure. I no longer get tele service or remote commands anymore. Still have traffic, weather, and bmw online. Dealer or bmw assist can't seem to find the issue...

I had my head unit replaced by dealer last year under warranty too, guess what? My connected drive section is empty too, before I had BMW live, internet etc.

I spent an hour with the "master technician" he did ha e a clue what I was talking about, just bullshit excuses that it will update by it self etc etc, same as the service history was going to update it self, which it didn't so that was another trip to the dealer.

Never going back to a dealer again.
