Climate Controls
Didnt know where else to ask this question so im posting in here. Having bought my first BMW, I see my 2014 335i has dual zone climate controls, but is there a Sync function where turning the driver side control also adjusts the passenger side? I havent found this feature yet and refuse to believe BMW left this out! Im sure im missing something here and hope someone can shed some light...
Thanks. |

IMO it would be a useless feature. The entire point of separate L/R temperature controls is to allow the driver and passenger to set different temperatures. I don't care about how my passenger might set their control, I only care about mine, which pretty much stays at 68F all the time.

Far from worthless I think. Have t ok set 2 dials to 84 in the morning to warm up and then 2 dials back down to 70ish when the cabin is warmed up, and yes I can tell the difference. Just strange as every car out there has had this feature since the mid 2000s.

Setting them to 84 doesn't warm the car any faster than setting them to 70. The heater output is the same no matter what you set the temperature at. Set at 68 mine never takes more than ten minutes to get up to a comfortable level, even in below zero temperatures.
