Says to add 5w-30 I know bmw uses their own brand but when i open the good it says Castrol oil only

Do you have the receipt from the last oil change it should say what oil they used and the weight. I suggest using the same

No I don’t have the receipt gonna buy Castrol EDGE Full Synthetic Motor Oil, 5W30 C3 1 Quart
