MPE or MPPK First?
Hi friends. So I've decided to do MPE and MPPK. I want to stagger the installations and was wondering which I should do first. I'm leaning towards MPE then MPPK next month. What would you guys do?

If it is just a month apart then it really doesn't matter that much! MPPK will be the noticeable performance difference. The MPE really won't add any noticeable power but it will change the sound. Just depends if you want the speed first or the sound first?
I'd go MPPK first if it was me. |

Dealer said 1.5 hours for each item, so I would only pay the 1.5 hour labor rate for the MPE, comes out the same if I were to install both at the same time. Maybe I'll just hold off until next month, just being impatient I guess.

Why can't it be done at the same time? Seems odd to me..

I did talk to couple of dealership they both told no discount on labor doing MPPK + MPE together so I did the MPE first and I'm very happy with the result. I feel the car is already fast enough for daily / commute driver like me it's better to fix the sound first. Still MPPK is on track for next week or two. I do get some discount (15% off) on labor for BMWCCA USA membership. |

Personally, the MPE is a little quiet for my taste but I think the exhaust note will be good for more smiles than the MPPK "bump". I'd go MPE first.

I did the MPPK first. The power is lots of fun for the street. Did the MPE 3 weeks later. Sound is really fun in Sport and Sport+, though not loud. But the note is sporty. Together it really changes your 435i into a different car, though it won't make it a M4
