You have to do it on your own or go to a local bmw coder. He has to put SA 2VF in your FA and code the complete car. Nothing hard for a coding specialist.
Thank you very much for answear.
Sorry for lot of questions: Can you feel the difference in comfort mode, on uneaven roads, potholes ? ride is more comfortable ? and also less body roll on turns ? after instalation, compared with OE passive suspension

Before i fitted the adaptive suspension i had standard suspension with schnitzer springs.

Now with adaptive Suspension and schnitzer springs its in comfort mode a little more comfortable than before. But really only a little bit. Also the way the suspension react on potholes is different. Its a little bit softer at fast compressions. At Sport or Sport+ its sporty but not to much. Hard to explain.

At least if you can't get the harness to work, you could make some nice mittens...

Hola a todos
BMW no puede codificar esta modificación. Porque es una definicion de producto propia
Un amortiguador es hardware controlado por un software que es propio de BMW que supuestamente esta estudiado para que el 90% de los compradores se sientan conformescon su diseño

That harness should have a reference
Wich are the ecu reference

My f30 haves 153k km right now. When it gets to 200k I wanna change the suspension even that right now are perfect. It's a M sport Suspension.

I wanna install a F80 suspension but I'm not sure it will fit. Any ideas?

I don't think it will work, from the top of my head:
- electronically, f80 use a different ecu for EDC, which probably wouldn't cooperate easily with the other ecus onboard, not 100% sure but that could be tricky. The dampers also connect via the top strut hat, not in the wheel hub.
- physically, the dampers are not the same size and would require a different wheel hub, and therefore brakes and discs.

EDC Ecu ist the same as in the F3x but with other software. The Software is made for the F8x M Drive Buttons that the F3x dont have. You also need this. But i dont know if the FEM with F3x coding accept the M Drive Buttons.

Damper are physically different.

The EDC Software is made for the F8x not the F3x. The F8x is wider, with other gravity center and complete other suspension (track and camber etc) Dont think this would drive very nice...

If I have a car with DHP and 2VP (adaptive comfort suspension) do I need any hardware changes to get 2VF or can I code from 2VP to 2VF?

On my F11 LCI i have S223A ADAPTIVES FAHRWERK Electronic Damper Control (EDC)
When playing with the configuration of Sport and Sport+, it allows me to put the dumpers Suspension in sports mode also.

I would love to know the diference between the two.
223 vs 2VF
