440i M Performance exhaust

So I went to the dealer today and asked for a quote for the M Performance exhaust and carbon tips.

I'm pretty sure they quoted me the wrong one?

18302406953

They said it's 1868$.

Am I getting confused with this full kit?

11122444531

MPPSK with the better burbles and 35+ hp would be this version right?

If it is the right one, I'm also curious if I can get to stage 2 with this setup? Or do I need a better exhaust system and forgot MPPSK?

I believe that's the right part. Yes it's an exhaust and a tune , I got the MPPSK and have not regretted it , sounds great with valves open.

You need a decat or sports cat for stage 2 so you'll also have to change your downpipe before doing it . But I would do the MPPSK now , when you get bored flash stage 1 which you can do .

When you get bored of stage 1 swap the downpipe and go stage 2

If you're looking for the M Performance exhaust that is part of MPPSK then yes they quoted you the wrong one part number 18302406953. The first one is just an axleback with no valves.

MPPSK part number 11122444531 is the way to go. I have it and it sounds wonderful. The MPPSK tune will become your factory map if you ever switch to an aftermarket tune. The full cat back exhaust will sound great whether you go to an aftermarket stage 1 or 2 tune or stick with the MPPSK tune.

Ok so if my understanding is right, MPPSK is a cat back exhaust and I would also need a downpipe to hit stage 2.

But I can hit stage 1 with MPPSK.

And by factory setting meaning if I want to remove a tune it'll always go to MPPSK settings as stock?

Yes sir you are correct! The MPPSK exhaust is also valved which I eluded to but didn't come out and say.

The B58 with MPPSK sounds way better than the S55/F8x in any configuration.

There's also a sticky thread dedicated to MPPSK in this subforum.
