I'm trying to retrofit and code Adaptive LEDs on a G01 X3 using E–sys 3.27.1 (since running on a VM), do you know if this will work? If so is it the same VO option (0552 from what I've read) and procedure as FXX series?

Launcher cannot run in VM, but if you are VO Coding 552 Adaptive LED headlight option, you do not need Launcher and can use E-Sys Direct, so you should be able to do this.

Ok, do you know if it will be the same option (552) and procedure for the Gxx as it is on the Fxx? I can't find any info on how to do it on the Gxx series.

It should be same. Remove existing Light Option Code, (e.g. 522 Xenon Light & 524 Adaptive Headlights) add 552 Adaptive LED headlight, then VO Code BDC_BODY and both FLE Light Modules.

Yup I did that but ran into the dreaded corrupt caf file. For some reason the "detect CAF for SWE" is grayed out. I'm on ESYS 3.27.1..

Injecting CAFD (Detect CAF for SWE) and Flashing ECU's with >= v.4.17.20 PSdZData requires using newer E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher. PM sent.

Thanks for the help Shawn, using the newer ESYS worked for one of the Lights but I keep getting the cafd_xxxxxx Not Executable error when I try to code the second FLM. I suspect either a bad ECU/connection or a bad cable. Probably not a bad cable though since the first FLM worked fine.

If you can't inject CAFD, you will need to Flash the ECU(s).
