Share a photo? Just curious to see what happened..it's a bit hard to process the charge pipe section getting crushed just from shipping. Mike is the best glad you purchased directly from him and Pure has great warranty and exchanges for any damages so I wouldn't be worried about it.

I wonder if the OEM turbo that's converted into the Pure would bend like that. They seem to be sturdy for sure someone dropped that box off the 3rd floor of a building.

Yeah, I had my mechanic lined up for this week for the install, but shit happens. Not the end of the world.

Hoping to get into the 6's, 60-130. I'm on revision 5 on this Jordan tune (not running well at all) and managed a 7.72 a couple nights ago. I'll probably knock out a few more revisions and call it done, then dyno tune the new setup next Spring. Does anyone know if Marin, Shoup or Botti work with Bootmod3?

Shoup = MHD.
Marin = MG Flasher.
Not sure about Botti.

I think Doug Newton or Sameh might use BM3. My personal tuner was Racebox on BM3.

Yikes not sure what supporting mods you're running with your upgraded hybrid but I make 7.6-7.8s on my 60-130 on just DAW v2.5(+) + TU pump on E30 with Doug. Jordan tunes are always Jordung tunes imo. Doug and Sameh tunes on Bootmod3 as well their base maps will go for $500 on Doug and $550 with Sameh

I'm on Dorch Stage 1, catless DP and E40,with a cheap VTT GC, so considering we don't know the DA variance between us, I'd say we're pretty close. Again, only on revision 5, so there's still room on the table. Just received revision 6, so we'll see how that goes. I appreciate the info on the tuning!

My tuner is gonna use Jordan to do a remote tune on my car when the turbo goes in? Is this a bad idea? Should I go with someone else? Maybe F80 Paul?

I seen log files from both CJ and PJ and they run lean as fuck and that ain't good for the pistons. Someone recently switched to Odin (I think) and they were very satisfied in the end.

it seems hit and miss. I see some guys saying they love their tune from Paul and Cary, and some saying it's not running good

Honestly man I would rather go with a tuner that you directly work with. From my research, I have seen Sameh Yehia (who charges $550 for base map and tunes on BM3) and Doug Newton (subpartuning, he charges $500 for base map and tunes on all platforms i believe) do some incredible work on people's cars. When I search their name up in the facebook forums, I see majority positive things from them and I have draggys and dynos to back these claims up.

I'm tuned by Doug and my logs look great. He's responsive and he knows his shit. Very humble guy and you get to directly speak with him. I'm sure Sameh is the same way as well.

+1 for F80 Paul, super responsive and he takes his time with your tunes. Lots of revisions and fast replies. He's done a 94+meth tune and I'm currently doing revisions on E50+meth.

I'd wanna see some of your logs especially if hes running a Meth + E tune on your motor. F80Paul tends to lean out on AFRs (as shown in my logs)

Just flashed/logged revision 7 from Cary for my E40/Vargas GC tune and the car is finally running smoothly; 7.75 60-130 @ 63 degrees. Hoping to get it wrapped up next week and will then install the Pure 800 cast/DS2 and will likely dyno tune next spring. Not sure who I'll have tune yet? Hoping for upper 6's, 60-130. If I have to bump the blend to E50, then so be it.
