If you want to hit 550whp-600whp consistently you're gonna need to upgrade to a DS2 or port injection

edit: you'll really feel the difference from the stage 2+ E30 or E50 map stock turbo to the upgraded turbo + custom tune

2) With a right tune you will get 500-530whp on E30 but if you get a DS2 you could make 550whp+ on E40 I'm sure

3) When it comes down to DAW or Pure both have been thoroughly tested and both are great products. Max you can blow on a P850 I'd say would be 650whp pushing it to 700whp same with the Ultra Flow. DAW v2.5 can do 600-620whp on DS2 conservatively and consistently and P800 could definitely do the same as well if not pushing it to 640whp. DAW spools really nice down low and acts very similarly to stock turbo I cannot speak on the P800's spool time but the DAW has been proven to spool faster than the P800
Great feedback...
I would go with the DAW Ultra Flow but XPH is saying the only thing available right now ( if i want it now which i think i do ) is both Pure's... like i said, i would prefer the Ultra Flow for the reasons you listed... and also, i got some not so great feedback at a recent B58 shootout in reference to Pure so that's in the back of my mind... i read the same things you guys do about how good the Pure's are so that was a bit confusing... I would still consider the Pure without question as on the forums, people give great feedback.
Lastly, i'm still curious about a Hybrid/custom tune/ with the use of the TU and BOOSTANE which raises your octane about 3 points so in my case 96 with a splash of E. I guess its a tuner question but i think it could work.

Why is Ultra Flow better than Pure 800 Cast? There is no data on it anywhere. The DAW 2.5+ has a smaller hot and cold end than the Pure 800 Cast. I have both of these turbines. I can't find a description of Ultra Flow.

You are correct that the P800 has a bigger hot and cold side but they will both get you to 600whp no problem. Depends on how you tune them too. This is the data I can find from the facebook page but Trevor Elam has hit 2.4s with the Ultra Flow in a RWD car on prepped surface. Check his instagram for that.

He's also on a built engine and apparently boosting 40 psi. I'm pretty sure a Pure 850 with a built engine and 40 psi can do the same, but at that rate I would just run a Big Boost bottom mount kit If my engine was built. I don't even know if you're able to hit 40 psi with a Pure or DAW, but it must be maxed out.

I think that at 18-25psi boost on 100Ron and E40-45 fuel there is no difference between Pure 800 Cast and DAW Ultra.

This is how Pure 800 Cast drove on MHD E40 OTS + JB4 6psi + WMI Port. It was +12C outside. If there was a custom setting, it would be faster of course. But the boost is only 26psi, not 29-32psi!

This is a perfect setup, but I got a state ref ticket so its probably best to go back to stock and just get rid of the car.

Probably been asked but will ask again... with a little fuel twist...
Pure800/Ultra flow DAW --- if i keep the TU pump and run either of these turbo's using 93oct+boostane+let's say E20, what is the opinion on the TU being ok under this circumstance. I'm not looking at this point to max out, i'm looking for a nice 550 ish to the wheels or maybe a little more... i don't see anyone mentioning boostane... and i'm using with stg2+ ots and it's wonderful

Nice. I’m going to wait until Spring to install and will likely go with Doug for tuning as well. My “final” E40/DS1/Vargas GC map from Jordan still stumbles at times. It’s pretty strong with a 7.6 60-130, but Pure 800/DS2 will be stronger.

I vouch @B58 for anyone looking for a hybrid turbo as both the DAW V2.5+, DAW Ultra Flow, and Pure800 (OEM cast) have been proven to run reliably and with solid power gains. Both can achieve 500whp on pump gas and 600whp+ on E/M/race fuel.
