I was trying to run stage 2 E30 on my b58 440i. When I push it to WOT the car seems to be misfiring by popping like crazy and not running smoothly. Can someone look at these logs to see what may be causing it?

I currently have a CTS turbo catted DP, BMS intake, and stock HPFP.

Put approximately 5.3 gallons of e85 in tank, and rest 93 oct.

I reached out to bm3 support and they told me my HPFP is crashing and needs to be upgraded.

Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Click HPFP actual and HPFP target. You see how its crashing like crazy? You need to reduce how much ethanol you're putting in the tank or upgrade your HPFP.

I do see the massive dip. I have a b58TU pump coming in tomorrow. Any tips on how to correctly make an e30 blend? I think I put way too much e85 in for the stock system to handle.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but BM3 told you exactly what's wrong. Upgrade the HPFP.

Use online calculators like this and enter 16 gallon tank and e30 as target.

however with the tu pump what you put in should be fine, you're probably at e40 now. The best way to know is to buy an ethanol content analyzer kit for the gen1 b58 because it takes any guess work out of it! Pump gas may not always be e85 it could be much less.

Hey all. Posting an update in hopes of more help.

Car is not backfiring anymore after upgraded fuel pump to b58TU, however I am still noticing drops in pressure of my hpfp on bm3 stage 2+ 93.

I lowered the boost to 17psi and still seeing drops but car is running OK.

Here are the logs. Can someone confirm if this is normal or not?

You have some timing corrections not too bad but now that you have the TU pump, I'd suggest try running the Stage 2+ E30 map.

You can aim for ~E35 for ideal clean logs.

Log and post

Cheers

Based on the first log (I only looked at that one) your hpfp isnt dropping at all. I think you saw that it dips during shifts and thought that was bad but that's a normal characterisitc of shifting gears.
