F32 adaptive xenon RHD to LHD headlights

Hi guys,

I have a '15 F32 imported from the UK to the mainland. It's my daily driver and I absolutely love it. I have OEM BMW LHD headlights installed instead of the RHD ones.

Everything works except for the high beam. When I turn the lights on the high beam is on, when I turn on the high beam from the steering wheel, it turns off with the light in the cluster being on. The highbeams work in reverse.

I worked with the dealership and a coder that only codes vehicles and neither could fix it. The coder tried every possible combination and he could not figure it out. This is a wiring issue.

Anybody have a clue on where to start? Is it a wiring issue at the FEM or on the headlights themselves?
I cannot find any wiring diagrams for the headlights, maybe someone could get me those?

I do not think this is a wiring issue or at least very unlikely to be.
To me, it sounds like a defect in the lighting computer unit. I have had issues with it in a 5 series a long time ago and some strange things happen to your lights when it goes out.
Is there maybe a self-test that can be done on that unit?

Units were replaced by dealer when they coded in my new lights, one of the units was replaced then as it was faulty.

I did some more digging and found the wiring diagram for both a 435i coupe and then my 435i coupe RHD.

Seems like the wiring is exacly the same. Now I don't know what it is...

I've had a coder code every single light combination possible for the F32 but none worked. Either a wiring issue or faulty modules is my guess.

We finally figured it out by accident, after 1 dealer and 2 coders took a look at it.

During coding of the M4 cluster we tried coding the normal european settings one more time, didn't work so we continued with the M4 cluster and forgot to flash back to the other working setting.
After a day I realised the coder and I totally forgot to flash back the working setting but when starting the car it seems like it was behaving like it should.

After some quick thinking, we just needed the car to go to deep sleep for the changes to work.

For anybody else having this issue, flash the car with correct setting of headlights and turn the car off, lock it and leave it a couple of hours. After that it will work.

Glad u fixed the problem i literally did the opposite of u I changed LHD xenon adaptive headlights to RHD. However my high beams don't work in reverse or anything so I'm not even sure what to do. I made a post and been trying to figure this out forever. Do u mind checking out my post?
