I've noticed it makes catless smell worse.

Yes from personal testing (insane close to max burbles to flame gunshots to now OEM burbles) I have found the best BOOTMOD3 BURBLE SETTING for any 40i cars in my opinion. These burbles are short and sound like the stock F90 M5 Competition/M8 Competition. Short and fierce pops.

Settings:

Duration (secs): 1
Duration Sport (secs): 2
Aggression: 5
Aggression Sport: 8.8
Max Speed: 200
Min. RPM: 1100
Max RPM: 5800

I would just stick to OEM burbles if you’re concerned about OEM downpipe damage. I would use the same settings but with a lower aggression value
