Hello all,
I got my spark plugs changed a couple of weeks ago and since then have noticed the engine (I'm guessing the fuel injectors) click way louder than before. In addition, the first couple of days I smelled burning. Fast forward to today, I started smelling burning again but this time actually saw the white smoke from the passenger side of the engine. I'm guessing it's the valve cover gasket or turbo oil line cooler but will be taking it tomorrow to the shop. My other concern is whether the amount of clicking and random metallic high pitch sounds should be a concern or if it's just normal Edit: I should also add I got an oil change at the same time (Liqui Moly 5w-40), not sure if that could contribute to the new smoke Video for sound and can kind of see smoke Better video of smoke but couldn't really see where it was coming from (I'm no expert) |

Did you spill any oil while pouring the new oil in?
Also did you spill any removing the filter or not torque the filter to the proper specification. Another thing could be adding too much oil. At least that's all I can think of.
