Matching fog lights with headlights

I finally got around to trying bimmercode and added the fog lights to the welcome light setup.
They are yellow though, so looks pants.
Could someone please send a link to a set of fog lights with the same colour temperature as headlights?

As far as I am aware you will never match the Halogen output (fogs) with the whiteness of the LED output on the angel eyes legally... the LED light is a far whiter light than can be achieved from a Halogen bulb.

Whether you will get away with it of not, I don't know, but the fine can be up to £1,000, and possibly a MOT fail? Not sure if they test fog light output, obviously test headlights.

But that's a bulb change, changing the unit to LED needs coding too I think..

Try these.

Super white and match my Morimoto LED's perfectly. Have had them for approximately 30k miles with zero issues.

Thanks - was it a straight swap with no coding needed?

Very easy to swap but did require coding with BimmerCode.

LED fog lamp bulbs work fine but you'll need to code-out the bulb current monitoring using Bimmercode. I forget the exact option you need to use, but I think it's the "hot" monitoring option (i.e. the current draw when the fog lamps are switched on) which needs to be coded off.

Been meaning to get around to this, had a quick look on the forums yesterday night and looks like the below needs to be coded as inactive.

-Warm/Cold checks, sends a pulse to halogen bulbs to check they’re alive, leds flicker as a result, halogens will stay ’on’ for the human eye because the filement remains hot?

Just bare in mind when the lights go out you will still see the fogs illuminated very slightly as the led bulbs just need a fraction of current to illuminate, this completely shuts off when the car goes to sleep completely.Only way round this is to fit a resister of some kind.
