Yuck that USB port under there is ugly! Don't bring to F8x. iDrive 5 though -- I'm stewing with jealousy for
Couldn't agree more. I like that they're hidden away on current models. Sitting out like that reminds me of the early aughts. Or a minivan.

Umm...well...it does have more cargo capacity than the 4 series GC. I trust the extra USB port will not interfere with a passengers travel mug.

It might be practical but that's it.

Will we be able to update our idrive to this latest version by just upgrading the software?

It's a more comfortable road trip car if you have anyone sitting in back.
Its also 6 inches longer in the middle, creating amazing amount of rear leg room. For me and my family, this really is what I should be driving.

3 things:
One, it doesn't have the new iDrive controller we already see coming in on 2017 X3/4 and 6-Series models. Two, blue stitching on M-Sport?! Love that! And, three, the press release still is saying lines instead of packages...are they reverting?

It's a global press release. Wait for the US press release and I would guess the lines will be gone.

I don't see any big changes compared to the current model.
And I don't really like the look of the new iDrive.
How could BMW approve those ugly icons?

That's what Z4 and M6 Coupe owners say about the 335.
Just because you don't need a practical car with room for four doesn't mean no one else does.

Besides the front looking like an LCI F30 and iDrive/2nd USB, don't see how this is any different. Still an ugly car to be honest.

I enjoy having a 3 series GT. Perfect car for my needs.

The 19inch wheels on the M-sport shown here are the best looking wheels offered on any any of the F3x models.

Would love the slightly wider rear wheels as well

I thought the GT's were ugly as well until I saw one on the showroom floor. The space in the back seat is amazing, the LED piped lighting you get with the lighting package (I think), and also the hatchback was extremely useful. I'm personally a Wagon fan and they don't sell the Diesel engine variants for the US so it's not for me.

Also not a fan of thhe last model year before a new body. With a whole new 3-series coming in 2018 I'm afraid of real resale value.

Yes, you can purchase a diesel 328d Touring in North America It's a terrific car and offers much better handling and svelte styling compared to the egg-shaped 3er GT.

Have you even sat inside the GT and tried to look out the rear window or rear quarter ? The rearward visibility is dreadful ! Driving or parking the GT in the rain should be great fun - no wiper to clean off the sloping rear window !!!

Doesn't matter what color BMW puts this 3GT in still is ugly. This is so close to an X4 don't quite understand the market for this.
