Recommendations for a good shop for mods near Vienna VA?

Hi,

I've just relocated to Vienna, VA and am looking for a good shop to help me with some mods...mostly suspension, but maybe a hatless downpipe as well (B58).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

Welcome to the area! If you look down a few threads lower than yours you'll find some recommendations for indy shops doing suspension work. None in Vienna, but in the vicinity - Fairfax Service Center, RRT, PTuning, F3 Auto, Mach V, GT Peace.

in VA you have to get smogged every year, right? So, if I put on a catless mid pipe, I will have to swap it out every year?

I guess I'll have to learn the DIY if that's the case...

Viginia has always been aggressive on inspection and emissions. You use to have to get your car inspected every 6 months!!!

At the peak in the early 1970s, only about 31 states required safety inspections. In Virginia, the inspections were once were required every six months until the legislature changed the law to require them just annually.

Now it’s time to move Virginia into the21st century and eliminate the annual vehicle safety inspection requirement, at least for private passenger vehicles. It’s an originally well-intended government regulatory idea that never really made any sense.
