Sounds great. I also think about putting a catless downpipe on my car

Those are very impressive numbers. Was it a custom remap? How does the remap get along with the hybrid system? There must be a massive difference in acceleration in all gears..
On the torque side of things. Your now up 170 lb/ft over stock 310lb/ft. My only concern would be the gearbox with that much torque.

This is with a custom remap.
As far as the gearbox is concerned, I have no idea. I suppose it is safe but I can not find anything out of the maximum specification of the gearbox.
the 330e has the following gearbox: 8p75hz
this is also one of zf.

I'm sure it's capable of handling the torque. My only reservation for now would be with the electrical motor bring within the gearbox. And if the gearbox was to become faulty it would be seriously more expensive than a standard ZF gearbox. ZF gearboxes a known for being reliable in general though.
Let me know how you get on. I'll possible be interested in replacing my DTUK unit with a custom remap when the warrant expires next year. Although I believe the electrical motor and other hybrid components are covered by a 6 year warranty?

I tuned my 330e F30 and now got 350PS and 620NM.

The car has now more than 80.000 km and absolutely no issue at all. Runs smoothly.

Have you any other mods done to the engine, or is it stock? Was the gearbox mapped too? How many Kms have you done with the map?
The performance with the remap must be hugely different than without.

Can you tell me your experience in the difference?

Incredible to find this threat here!

I've also been thinking about doing this but just don't know where to start. I'm based in Scotland and have started contacting a few garages and custom exhaust places to see what they say.

Indeed it is odd when it's a hybrid, but as Thadoodz and others have said... I embrace the electric mode but often I want the deeper (and louder) sound. I'm a V8 muscle car fan caught living in the UK and driving a hybid ha ha ha ha!

If anyone here has a definitive recommendation as to what to add, and what isn't worth doing, then I would love your opinion. But anyway, thanks everyone for the input here as great to read and great to see others with the same challenge as I have.

Bmw 330e Cende Exhaust

Anyone know if the Cende F30 exhaust system would fit right in the 330e or would it have to get modified? https://www.hyenna.eu/product/bmw-3-...xhaust-system/

They're wouldn't be enough space for that system in a 330e. The batteries take up too much space under the floor

I removed the mid muffler and replaced the rear muffler with a magnaflow straight through design. Great result, still quiet on low rpms, and really opens up when you floor it. Deep note on idle too.

I also added the bms intake kit, which gives you intake suction sound and turbo flutter when you release the gas, if that's your thing 😊
You got any videos or sound clips?

I'm planning on doing a muffler delete only. For those that have done so, what did you do with the flap control on one side of the original exhaust pipe?

I just bundled it up a few times and zip tied it to itself up in the bumper. That way it wont fall out and/or rattle around.

I assume this is a response to my question? No error thrown since the flap cannot open and close freely (since you've tied it up already)?

Yes. I installed a Valvetronic muffler and no longer use the stock flap/wiring at all. I just bundled the stock wire up into the bumper with a zip tie and no error code so far (about 1 week). Though I believe BM3 has an option to code the OEM flap to "off" if i need to.

I have a full de-catted setup with the factory stock exhaust flapper solenoid.

Normal operation in comfort mode, fully open with burbles in sport/sport+.

I have never done an exhaust upgrade on any of my BMWs that i have owned. Only ever done intake and suspension. I will be getting this brand for every BMW I own moving forward.

I have a 330i LCI with OEM one side double exhaust and could get a M140i muffler - has it the same size than the M240i/M340i? Would really like to convert to dual exhaust

I now have bought a dual exhaust/muffler from a 440i Grand Coupe (similar to 340i is assume) and I want to install it on my 330i LCI. Have read many content about the mounting points and I can't find a definite answer. Can I just swap the existing muffler hanger from the 330i to the 340i/440i muffler?

Have found a guy who has done a mod from 328i to 335i muffler and this is his comment

.......the muffler hanger on the right side of the car is not long enough. My muffler shop just ended up welding on a longer piece of metal rod to the existing hanger.

I know it is a different car but very similar exhaust systems I assume. Any ideas?

I have a Remus axel back on the 2018 330ix. I'm in Canada and at the time (2019) there were no other options. Not sure if this is currently on the market. I like the exhaust note and it was a nice deep sound. After the VRSF catless downpipe, however, the car sounds very metallic and tinny... espeically on cold-start and higher revs...so currently not too happy with the sound, but that is due to DP not the axel back.
