2014 328d Tune and MPG question

I have a 2014 328d with close to 250,000 miles on it. About 100k miles ago I did an exhaust change with DPF delete along with a stage 3+ tune.

I am wondering if there is a tune just for the dpf delete that will also just beef up mpgs some more. I average a little over 42mpgs between city and highway driving.

I see people averaging 50 and 60mpg and wondering if I'm doing something wrong? I drive pretty conservatively.

Side note, there is no emissions testing where I live.

The cheapest tune is found in your right foot; slow down, coast more, use eco-mode whenever possible, look farther ahead to anticipate traffic conditions, etc.

Why are you tuned at all if you drive conservatively? Go back to stock with Kerma stage 1 if necessary for best efficiency

Going to have a hard time doing that without a DPF.

OP...reach out to whoever sold you the stage 3, they can handle a stage 0 w/dpf delete, you just may have to pay for it and probably not worth the fuel savings.

Don’t forget that British mpg is not US mpg. British gallons are larger ergo more miles.

Edit: Someone in another thread calculated up UK mpg 57 is us mpg 47.

So you are exactly in line with the ones you say get 50+.

I used to get 43 hwy with out work, 49.8bestever freeway really trying and keeping speeds down eco pro etc. usually was about 48-49.
then I lowered it to the 1.5” limit for funsies, so the additional mechanical drag from the CV joints and aero drag from nose down rake (higher cd) means I lost a few mpg freeway, not much diff city.
I can still get 40 ish easy and 47 working at it, but not 50 US!

For reference, my standard UK 2015 N47 320d M-Sport Touring auto (same car as the US 328d I believe) is showing an overall 47.5 UK mpg (equivalent to 40 US MPG) over the last 10k miles.

But I've never been known for having a light right foot

Okay I’m looking at completely deleting my 2014 328d. So my question to everyone is what do I do after deleting it? Obviously it has to be tuned, but by a professional tuner or can I do it myself?

Any advice about anything with my new car would be greatly appreciated!
Also I don’t know how to make a post, so I guess this is a reply?😂
