The new Android 10!

This is the only seller on AliExpress I can find to sell Android 10 units. However there are only pictures of what looks like id6 UI and no description whatsoever. Found another Android 10 unit from them for E60 and it says that's 2GB RAM / 32GB storage but nothing else. Personally I think these are old rockchip units with Android 10 implementation just to move some old stock.

Under Specification you will find 32GB storage and 2GB RAM ... I agree, this seems to be old hardware units with Android 10 implementation. Not recommended.

Anyone know how to set the display to show idrive side of things properly? I’ve tried all the possible combinations under ‘display type’ in factory settings and idrive still cuts off dates etc.

Hi, I think you have to change some options from the OEM display config menu.

That‘s the main problem of all android stuff. EOL of support coming so quick.....

Do we really need Android 10, unless there are more functions or better idrive integration ? I don't think so .
The only problem might be that makers stop development for Android 9, while doing better things in Android 10 .
And for the same hardware, an upgrade might be possible.

Hi everyone,

One question to everyone who has an idrive controller which you can push in directions UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT besides rotating.
In Android pushing the idrive controller downwards doesn't seem to do anything but pushing UPWARDS it does. Anyone observed the same or is my idrive controller broken?

I unfortunately cannot check the funcionality on OEM side as I only have ENTRY EVO HU.

Should have phrased that better I guess, I put them into the Avin harness, still no success.

The seller doesn't ship to Germany, try changing location to France.

But for $260, this is obviously not a new unit. Here is a few screenshots, is this not also old software?
