Filling paint chips, clay bar, ceramic coating
I ordered Dr. Colorchip to fill several paint chips.
I also will be clay barring for the first time and then ceramic coating the exterior. Should I do the steps in this order? 1. Wash and dry car 2. Fill paint chips 3. Clay bar 4. Apply ceramic coating Or, is it better to perform them in the order of 1, 3, 2, 4? Thank you in advance. |

That was a horrible match for me with Dr Colorchip. Not even close as there are at least 13 Shades of BMW Alpine White according to the painters I know. |

I would also wait between applying the touch up paint and doing all the detailing work, no matter what you decide to do. Give the paint a week or two to totally set/dry. Good rule of thumb I've heard from pro detailers when dealing with a car which has had body work done is to wait a month. I'd hope touch up paint wouldn't take as long.
