£568.25 for engine oil and filter service?
Hello
My 320d is scheduled for service in a few weeks and this week I visited the main dealer to have my key read. The service desk gave me a print out stating that the following is due:
The total bill for this? £568.25? Does this seem right? I know my car isn't a Toyota Corolla, but surely such a basic service on a four cylinder car shouldn't be this expensive. On BMW's website engine oil and filter service is itemised at £350. What do you recommend I do? Can I haggle? In case you are wondering this is an BMW Approved Car and this is the first service. Can I buy a service package, if so, is it worth it? Thanks for your help. |

A little late replying to this, but you might want to shop around for prices from different dealerships.
There is always room for movement on price, you'll find. They're relying on company car drivers/lease owners just authorising everything. |
