I got mine for $2950 all-in at Houston North. They price-matched what I had found online and I have a friend that works in Parts so he helped as well.

$2300 for MPPSK (I found $2400 online but got $100 taken off just because)
$154 for both polished tips
$280 for labor
$210 for tax

Anybody in SoCal able to get ~3100 with carbon tips? Let me know the dealer SA contact info that hooked you up. Thanks!

You have to consider my location and that there’s only one dealership I can go to. Cheapest I found online was $2,250+250 shipping. My dealership matched it but I’ll have to pay tax which would come out to something like $2,618. Labor would be ~$450 + tax too. A bit more than I’ve seen elsewhere but I don’t really have a choice in that cost with no other dealer. Stainless steel tips I found online for $94 shipped I think, forgot to ask to include that.

I’m alright paying tax so I don’t be have to haul the kit to the dealership myself and they said there might be some complications with warranty if I source it myself.

Oh definitely, I was just trying to show that some dealerships are willing to price-match like they did for you and me that's all

I did get the dealership to print a quote for me showing the costs of parts and labor, I may take it to BMW South Bay or something of slightly further distance, maybe one in Downey I heard was good and show them my printed quote to see if they can beat it. Would rather just have them order the parts and install it all in house and get a loaner while they work on my vehicle, peace of mind and warranty coverage, hopefully I can get someone to do it for $3100-3200 with carbon tips.

That should be doable with carbon tips, but I guess it just depends on the dealership and the mood the parts guy is in, haha.

I doubt you'll need a loaner though. It took mine maybe 2 hours to get done, including the wash.

He said he might be able to do it if I schedule in advance. Another dealership I usually go to can take an entire day just to do an oil change, so I would get a loaner in that case but I'm thinking I'll go somewhere else lol.

Oh sorry I didn't even see your reply, when I checked earlier I was on mobile so the first post I saw was EricVR4's right after yours. Seems I answered your post anyway though haha.

Where did you guys find $2400 and $2500 online? I've been looking around and the cheapest I can find is $2867 with chrome tips @ getbmwparts.com

BMW Parts Pros - MPPSK

They've got it for $2323 for just the kit, plus another $174 for stainless tips.

So I was walking past a 540i when the guy started up his B58. He must've thought he was flexing his stock exhaust or something. It was wayy quiet, I could barely here it lol, though there was a barrier of sorts between me and the car. At any rate, this is why we need the MPPSK lol.

I think you have to pay shipping though, you may have to click to the next screen to get that. getbmwparts used to have free shipping but that's gone now, may have to wait for another sale.

I told my dealership I found it online for $2400 and showed them where I found it and they said ok we'll match that. They didn't worry about the shipping thankfully.

I've not seen any mention of being able to just buy the tune portion of the MPPSK (without the exhaust) for a 340. Is that correct - no option to buy just the tune?

No you have to get the exhaust. That was possible with the 335i, the tune came with an intake. You could get MPE separately. There is a 340i MPE as well but the tune comes with its own exhaust.

I wasn't sure of the rules here whether we could link to certain website but this is the lowest I've found it.

Yeah, you have to get the exhaust with the MPPSK because that's where a lot of the power increase comes with this kit verse the MPPK/MPE....BMW found a way to make even more money doing it this way

I would be awesome if my dealer agrees to match this price. I'll go in tomorrow or Friday and talk to my SA. Fingers crossed.

So here is the deal I found online and my dealer agreed to match.

$2445 MPPSK
$81 for both SS Tips

My SA agreed to install for 2.5 hours (1 hour exaust, 1.5 programming) @ $152/hour. My total out the door cost will be just under 3K.

That's what I was hoping to get all in. Might try to see what else I can do.
