Looking forward to these results! At some point later this year I'll get mine on a dyno.

I've been waiting all week to see the results from tomorrow. Ghost, are you still going to the dyno tomorrow?

Dammit...

Hey all,

The shop called me and let me know that the owner is going on a trip this weekend and they've postponed my run until Monday, sigh...

I know folks have been waiting for this data, so I am sure you can imagine how much I wanted to get the data today.

All things considered, it isn't that much longer, but sorry to the folks that have sub'd who've been patiently waiting to see the final results.

The new appt. is Monday @ 9AM PST. This is ideal since last week's appt. was at 9:30, so the atmospheric conditions should be pretty similar.

Just a few more days...

Results are in

Atmospherics were almost identical, so I will fast forward to the punchline...the average of the three runs came out to 238.6 whp and 260.6 wtq on 91 RON. Accounting for the same 15.9% driveline loss we used before, these come out to 283.7 hp and 309.9 lb-ft. at the crank.

Our baseline numbers were 252.71 hp and 281.96 lb-ft., which pencils out to a gain of 30.01 hp and 27.94 lb-ft.

For the minimal investment of $200 (about what I spent to write this post), I can say definitively that the JB+ does indeed net you the most performance per dollar on an N26 engine.

I will post the graphs when I get back to the house.

So +26.07 hp and +23.47 lb/ft at the wheels. Not bad.

26+ to the wheels for under 200...better than not bad in my book. God bless boost pressure.

For sure, you can not beat the JB+ when it comes to performance for price.

It is funny in the video that was posted earlier in this thread where the guy says not really worth it. Yet people are spending $500+ on cold air intakes that provide little or no performance increase. I get wanting more noise that's a different matter, but come on.

I'm glad to see proven results here, though your torque numbers in your first dyno runs are interesting, depending on how your read the numbers it would look like there was no torque difference with that one high run, but I guess we don't have the full charts yet for the JB+ runs.

Thanks for the dyno graph. Looks like the OEM graph without the JB delivers consistent power whereas the JB+ graph is a bit unstable. I think with bootmod3 changing configs to all of the modules it should deliver the same consistent band throughout the rpm range.

Side by side

Here they are side-by-side for comparison...

Actually...now that they are both here...it almost looks smoother with the JB+ than without...

Hmmmm best for dollar? I disagree. You gained about 20whp. When bootmod3 is 595$ and you will gain almost tripple and it's safer and it is more high tech
