Hello, anyone know how to reinstall this stuff? I had a hard drive crash, but the install files were backed up. I installed the esys and launcher, however in my rush when installing the launcher premium didn't change the path to C:\data. I realized after I ran to generate a token. I've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling, however the launcher still will not save the freetoken.est file. when I remove and reinstall the launcher I do not get asked to enter a pin again when I run it. I get the menu to select the car series then when I pick F20 it and then it asks for the pin again....says it generated a token, but won't let me past that point.

I'm thinking there is something stored in the registry....any suggestions on how to remove the launcher premium for a clean install? or what registry entry needs to be modified to add the C:/data folder info.

Are you using Launcher PREMIUM 2.8? If not. you need to be.

Hello Everyone,

I am new here. This is my very first post. Please forgive me if I make any mistakes.

My story here is that I have recently acquired a F30 330d lci, and long story short I want to learn more on E-sys. I have changed values of functions (coded). For example, digital speed displayed on the trip computer. Access it by pressing 'BC'.

My tools:
-Laptop with windows 7, and an SSD drive.
-E-sys
-PSdZdata: lite and full.
-E-sys Launcher Pro v2.8.1.155.

I also got a token which I paid for. Got it on the same day as I paid for it. Which was yesterday.

My curiosity has lead me to believe that we are able to update software's for the engine, transmission, and other components, via E-sys by flashing the ECU, or something like that.

I know someone who knows someone that says the software of there BMW Fxx was updated, without a power supply, using a yellow ethernet to obd cable, laptop and E-sys. The dude was completing one update at a time. Turning car off and on after each update.

My questions are many, I have two for now. The first; Is it possible to flash update software for steering, traction, fuel pump, engine? If yes, then how is it done, is there a guide. Second, where does the updated software come from...do they come from the PSdZdata file we download, and should download whenever there is a new one.

You can flash any and all ECU's you like with E-Sys, PSdZData Full and ENET cable:

That said, I would not flash ECU without good reason (bug fix, new feature, performance improvement etc.).

My reason for flashing is to have the ability to improve performance and add new features, without paying a fortune.

Back in January 2018, I tried to obtain an activation code for E-sys Launcher Pro 3.0.x from Tokenmaster, but I never received a reply to my mails. I guess he must have been flooded with requests. I hope that the dust around the roll-out of Launcher Pro 3 has settled by now and I’ll have another attempt to obtain an activation code one of these days.

Now that I’m at it, it seems wise to update E-sys and PSdZdata lite as well. What are the latest versions? And for the time being: E-sys Launcher Premium 2.8 as well. PM highly appreciated.
