Front silencer / muffler removal
I've a 2017 330e with a catless DP with a built in silencer. I have tried a straight through back box recently. And it was way too loud and there was a huge amount of drone. So had it removed there and then at the exhaust shop. And I when back to stock to have a think about it.
The rest of the exhaust system is stock. Can anyone tell me if removing the front silencer before the resonator will improve the sound or tone of the exhaust, while leaving the rear silencer and resonator in place? Thanks

Ah I see, I've never heard of a silencer for N/A spec its front cat then resentors then secondary cats to the muffler. RN I have a muffler delete and on jb4, but im getting catless dp and bm3 soon. I would say with just a muffler delete its ok loud and there are little burbles and farts after 4k rpm. hope this helps im some way
