I've never seen a code for it, if I had to guess, there's a code for it and it's probably located in the NBT ECU but idk if it even exists

There is no code to change the maximum power and torque. Probably the only way to do that would be to flash your NBT with the production code and power class of a higher model.

If the tune was done by a good tuner they will be able to change the values to meet the new power and torque values.

Buy the Awron performance display, you will love it, besides power & Torque, you get all older stuff as well, temperature, speed, time, G-Forces, etc...
This will show you exactly the output of the car in real time. The best mod I've ever done on my car. |

Of course if the tuner can set custom values for the displays then my theory is out the window. |

NBT is showing values based on acceleration pedal position and what DME firmware is set for, so even if your engine is producing more power you still need to modify some data in DME in order to have larger values...bro

It's a "fake" number based on what BMW tested the engine under certain loads and conditions. The maximum is pre-loaded into the DME. It's not really a real time representation of the exact TQ/HP the engine is producing. You can take two identical cars, they will both show the same power on the display, and one can still be faster. |

A mission performance tune will be able to alter the max output if the display.

No. It cannot be changed by coding.
But reading the thread, I found something interesting: My guess is also that the sports display is just a mapping based on a predefined matrix. How did the OP however manage to fill his scales with just ECU tuning? I would expect the Sport Display to still show same values, which would be completely off.
