Does the big "S" on the 335i picture mean the donor was a salvage car?
I guess if you have to replace half the body anyways from an accident might as well add some fender flares.

We all have different opinions and it's good, I like and build on cars to make them better. It is also fun to build something that nobody else has done before, as far as I know there is nobody in the world who has done it yet.
The plan was when I bought the car to create an extreme 3 series with the motor and gear from x5m with 4wd, but we'll see what it turns into. Have built some cars eventually and they are worthy upgraded BMWs that surpasses their M brothers. I like to build, therefore I do this:-) Link to an earlier build http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=584662 Last edited by minien; 11-29-2014 at 02:50 AM.. |

And one more thing if I wanted on an original M3 then I had bought it, but I wanted a 4wd this winter and I like M3 appearance.
And if I wanted to drive an original car, so I take a trip in my e90 M3 or c63AMG .... |

You guys are trying to apply regular-person-thinking to some rich dude's hobby. These guys are in a different league when it comes to burning money. Don't even try to apply logic to this.

In countries like Norway taxes are so high that its usually cheaper to build an M3 then to actually buy one.
I'm pretty sure atleast. There was a guy doing this with an E90 in a foreign country (foreign to the US) and he even did the motor. He said due to high taxes its a lot cheaper to do a conversion.
