2018 Glacier Silver Metallic 330i xDrive

2018 GSM 330i xDrive M Sport
  • BM3 Stage 2 (91 octane for the winter)
  • XHP Stage 2
  • Active Autowerke catted downpipe
  • AWE axel-back

So, here's the question: do I finish the build (OEM+) on this 330i, including Apex EC-7s in bronze, 245 Michelins, KW V3s, OEM BMW big brake kit, etc., or do I buy a new M240i xDrive?

Silver/Red is a great combo. Get the M240i if you are OK with 2 seats and can afford it.

I have the same combination in my current 2017 440i GC: Glacier Silver with Coral Red interior. This combination still makes me smile after years of ownership.

Love your build! Keep it. It's a gem. If your budget permits, get AP Racing BBK with J-hook rotors and other drivers will keep asking you about the brakes.

I really wanted the Mineral Grey color with the Coral Red interior, but after owning this spec for over a year, it has really grown on me. I do like the B46 in the 330i (good power & torque, decent fuel efficiency, etc.), but I think having the iconic BMW inline six before they become extinct is something I'd like to experience.

Thanks! I would love an AP Racing BBK. Might be a bit overkill for a B46-powered 330i (even at a humble stage 2 set up), but it would be an awesome set up. And the Glacier Silver has really grown on me. I had my eye on either white or Mineral Grey, but the silver and red just pops!

In the words of someone who took cars to the edge of their design limits for a well compensated living, “there is no such thing as over engineered brakes”.

If the budget permits, AP Racing brakes will exceed your expectations.

Is there a specific part number for an AP Racing BBK for the F30?
