So, you're off to the Brecon beacons. Which is basically known for it's hills, and walking.
And you want something with less walking Well, here's the (very) short list ... https://www.visitwales.com/destinati...brecon-beacons Methinks you possibly picked the wrong area ... |

Drive?
Sleep? other bed based activities ? eat? drink? read? listen to music and podcasts? guess it depends what you want from a holiday. You can keep red kites and trains, get them at home (well when I go to the office for the train part!) |

Plenty of walking treks to waterfalls - Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn - Sgwd Yr Eira Waterfall - Head to the 4 waterfalls car park and it's about a 8KM circuit walk.
If you go to Cardiff the Principality Stadium Tour is good Brilliant Beach at Rhosilli

This is a nice place especially if you have kids. Gardens and hidden Grottoes:
https://www.dewstowgardens.co.uk/ Dr Who and Merlin filmed here: https://www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/e...l-Village.aspx And if you venture into the Forest of Dean, there is Puzzlewood. Awesome place and loads been filmed there. https://www.puzzlewood.net/

Hiking to Pey Y Fan is amazing. View is stunning from the top. My 7 years old hiked all the way to the top without any trouble so you'll be fine. Lyn Y Fan is nice as well.
But You won't explore anything if you don't walk in Brecon Beacons. Perhaps Cardiff will be ideal if you prefer less walk. |
