As of now, it's a no to both. BMW is testing the waters with the 328i so keep your fingers crossed for a F31 335i, though.

Thanks for following up on our questions and getting us this info! Greatly appreciate the clarification.
Sadly, BMW has not learned its lesson from the E46 and E91 tourings, which is that US buyers do not want the weakest engine in the heaviest chassis. Somehow they see it fit to keep adding bigger and bigger motors to the X5 and related trucks though This is probably for the best for me, though, as it saves me a boatload of money. Hardly makes sense for me to spend so much money on a car I would rarely drive, but I wanted to support the market for a 6-speed touring. This frees me from my 'obligation'. Time to buy more toys! |

Ha, I know. I was sort of leaning towards the mature choice of an F31 and would personally prefer the 328i to the 335i, but won't do it without a manual. So it's looking like the Jeep Wrangler wins by default. Now I just need to determine if I feel like out waiting them on a diesel, or buying the current petrol lump.

I dont think 0,3 % difference means so much. Now we are talking the difference some gallons of gasoline more or less in the fuel tank makes.
