Eibach Springs for F33 435d xdrive

We recently got an F33 435d xdrive and I was planning on installing Eibach springs. Sadly I see from their website they don’t seem to do a kit for a 435d xdrive convertible. I have found 1 case where someone on here fitted springs from a GC, but I was just wondering if anyone else has done this? I wouldn’t be massively keen on messing with axles loads and non compatible kits unless I was 100% it would work with no side effects.

There’s a few references to Eibach making ACS springs too, which is strange in that ACS do do a kit for the F33 435d xdrive?!

Any help appreciated!

While Eibach produces the ACS springs, they are of own design, and pretty different. Why do you want Eibach, and not simply buy the ACS?

No further on. I was going to get the e10-20-031-06-22 kit from the F36, but not sure if I’d be safer building up a kit myself from individual pairs (rear springs from an F33 430d and fronts from a 435d)?

What is different about an xdrive that causes Eibach not to list RWD models as compatible? Are the shock/spring assemblies physically different? if not, surely if the weight rating is right that should be all that matters?

I’m probably over analysing it but I want to be sure I’m doing it right.

Cheers

drivetrain configuration doesnt effect the suspension on f chassis. just check if the kits are compatible with sport suspension if you have that or not. overall I wouldnt consider lowering a car again if you arent going to track it. not worth it. if you do plan on tracking the car, go with a coilover setup. doesnt matter if the car if rwd or awd all aftermarket suspension components these days on sale will be compatible.

springs arent worth it considering you NEED bumpstops in order to maintain ride quality and maintain the quality of your car. they also cost almost as much as just installing a coilover kit. so just do the coilovers if you really want. coilovers are also much easier to install and uninstall (especially the nonadjustable ones).
