Need help diagnosing my my F30. Went over a speed bump 2 weeks back and now I hear a scraping noise coming from what sounds like the rear axle but closer to the center around the driveshaft making a scraping noise.

It only starts over 20/30 mph and it gets louder with more people in the car. You usually only hear it when accelerating.

No idea what it can be, went to bmw dealership and they said could be wheel bearing, bushing, leveling arm etc but that doesn't make sense considering it's coming from the driveshaft in the center and not leaning towards a side.

I have no idea what it can be.

I had this issue and it was a mount that had broken. It is a mount that holds the emergency brake line. My mechanic found a suitable mount to replace the BMW one costing me $15 vs $150 from BMW. Whole thing plus brake fluid flush cost me $290.
