(Newbie) Tire Advice Size for OEM 403m wheels - Michelin Pilot Sport 4s

My run flats are going bald and thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to upgrade my tires .

I'm just wondering which size would be the best? I've been doing research and I've seen man different recommendations, but there is no clear cut choice. Hopefully you can help me choose the best size based on my car:

-2013 335i Sedan Msport (RWD), Msport Suspension
-403M OEM Wheels, (F: 19x8 ET36, R: 19x8.5 ET47)
-Stock Tire: (225/40/19 and 255/35/19)
-I'm looking to have the tire height tall enough to match the stock wheel gap or even make the wheel gap look smaller as well.

I'm completely new to choosing different tire widths/aspect ratio, so I appreciate any help I can get. What's pros / cons between staggered vs squared? I'm assuming staggered would be better since I have RWD.

This recommendation from ".BMW." caught my eye because the OP's car matched my car:
-245/35/19 front, 255/35/19 rear - Would I need spacers?

Please list any other combinations of tire sizes. The more the merrier Thanks again in advance!

245/40 front and 255/40 rear will also fit.

Just remember that 255/40 is almost 4% taller than OEM size.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll go with your latest recommendation . This setup should decrease the wheel gap vs stock, correct?

Also - Will there be any rubbing issues without spacers?

Thank you so much again

You might like to add 5mm spacers to the rear wheels, to make them a bit more flush.

Not needed though.

Think there will be any rubbing issues with the increased diameter of the tires? Especially when I have passengers?

Front:

-Arch gap loss: 8mm

Rear:

-Arch gap loss: 12.75mm

That tire size has the same overall diameter as 255/40-19, but the wheels are 20". He also runs 10" width and ET40, which is much more aggressive than 8.5" ET47.
