Delay Shifting into D or R from first start up
2017 330i
So, I jump in the car hit start, car fires up and I select D or R depending on my direction of travel and....nothing....it doesn't shift. I end up hitting the gas and an embarrassment of over revving ensues. I've taken to hitting it several times in quick succession when I start up, but it's frustrating and seems unnecessary, and really should be pretty immediate IMO. Is it just me being impatient, and that's how these cars work - or is there something not right?
