17" wheels on '18 340i?

Will 17 inch wheels fit a 340i? exploring my options for a winter set.

I believe you may have trouble with brake clearance with 17s

Which 17" wheels - style number - are you considering? BMW OEM or aftermarket?

I think 17 is the standard for non sport 340's. I believe it clears normal brakes, but not the larger blue or colored m sport brakes.

I was looking at a set of 393 style 17" wheels. The confusion definitely is around the brakes. My car is a 2018 340i M Sport ZHP. I believe I have the basic stock 340i brakes but there is so many conflicting things you read about brakes, M sport, M performance, Blue/Yellow, no color, etc.

It's a local set on craigslist. I may just need to go and test fit them before pulling the trigger.

I'm curious about this myself. Was considering putting BMW 392 style 17" wheels on a 2016 340i (non M version).
